Freedom from Endo Pain
Endometriosis affects one in ten women, and it’s a big deal. The good news is as a naturopath and herbalist, I offer 100% natural treatment options to improve the symptoms of endometriosis and stop endo pain.
I understand endometriosis is not just painful periods. It’s actually a whole body inflammatory disease. Although pain is the main symptom of endometriosis, it’s not the only symptom. Other symptoms include bleeding between periods, pain with sex, and a puzzling array of digestive and bladder problems.
If you’re reading this, I’m sure you have already had a journey so far getting a diagnosis. The main thing to remember is to not suffer crippling pain and be told it’s “just period pain”, there’s nothing you can do. Natural treatment options for endometriosis are available and I can help.
Understanding the Cause of endometriosis
Endometriosis is not like other period problems. It’s not a hormonal condition like PMS and PCOS. It’s affected by hormones, yes, but fundamentally endometriosis is an inflammatory disease and possibly an autoimmune disease that you can learn to manage naturally with the right support and guidance.
Getting to the cause of endometriosis can be tricky; however this is something I do in clinic. Causes of endometriosis include genetics and exposure to toxins such as pesticides and dioxins. The microbiome (good bacteria) also plays a role. For example, endometriosis sufferers have high levels of gram-negative bacteria and the bacterial toxin LPS (lipopolysaccharide) in their pelvis, which has been shown to actively promote endometriosis.
In my practice at Nicholson Health and wellness I specialize in integrated endometriosis support.
I know that although conventional treatment has not yet caught up with the new research into endometriosis and immune dysfunction, I have. I can guarantee you unfortunately hormonal suppression remains the primary treatment, which has many side effects and does not work all that well.
